Iron Egg
The Iron Egg, so named for its hardened, chewy exterior, is a tasty snack originating in Tamsui, Taiwan. It consists of eggs, repeatedly stewed in a mixture of soy sauce and spices and dried intermittently, to achieve a unique, chewy texture.
